Judo Victoria Incorportated (JVI) is the officially recognised governing body for Judo in Victoria. It is an Incorporated Non-For-Profit organisation and is affiliated with the Judo Australia, the Victorian Olympic Council, the Australian Commonwealth Games Association and the Australian Olympic Committee, and by extension with the Oceania Judo Union and the International Judo Federation.

The purposes of Judo Victoria Incorporated are;
1. To promote the values of Kodokan judo in Victoria
- The jita-kyoei philosophy (mutual welfare and benefit)
- The Moral Code/Values of judo: Courage, Respect, Modesty, Sincerity, Friendship, Honour, Politeness, Self-control. .
2. To promote and lead the administration of judo in Victoria in partnership with its Affiliated Clubs and Affiliated members.
Judo Victoria is an inclusive organisation that welcomes male and female members from 4 years of age to over 90 and does not discriminate based on gender, ability, race, religion or sexual orientation. It is committed to providing a SAFE environment for all members and has committed to the Victorian Government’s Fair Play Code and Child Safe Standards.
