
Noojee Trestle Bridge is a 5.3 km, easy hike in the Yarra State Forest, Victoria. It takes about 1.5 hours to finish.
This hike is simple and short. It is worth doing because the area is pretty and the Noojee Trestle Bridge is impressive. You can start the hike from different points in the small town of Noojee. A good place to start is Henry Street. Walk uphill to join the rail trail, then turn right and keep walking. The path is flat and easy, making it a good walk for kids or a gentle stroll. You will see the bridge after about 1.5 km, but you can keep going for another km to reach the end of the trail. To go back to Noojee, you can follow the same route or walk to the main road from the bridge’s carpark.
To get to Noojee, you can take the Warburton Highway and then C425. Or you can take the M1 Princes Highway, then C426 (Neerim South) and C425 to Noojee.
