Yea River Walk is a 2km easy loop walk in the Toolangi Bushland Reserve, Victoria. It takes about 1 hour to finish. This nice short walk goes through the Toolangi Bushland Reserve to the Yea River. The path is well-kept and easy to follow. It’s great for kids but fun for all ages.
Start just across the road from the Discovery Centre (there are signs from the car park). After crossing the road, look for the sign showing where to enter. Soon, you’ll reach a junction; go straight to continue the loop to the river. After the river, the trail loops back towards the road. Soon, the trail turns left at a junction. Take the left path and keep going to the road. Cross carefully and follow the sculptures back to the car park.
To get there, you can reach Toolangi via Kinglake and C724 if coming from the North or West. Or take B300, then C724. The Discovery Centre is next to the CFA at the East end of the town, with the car park at the back.
Tip: While you’re here, you can also do the Toolangi Sculpture Trail to make a total walk of about 4km.
