AFL Victoria offers AFL Blind Football. This is a new and fun way to play Australian Rules football for people with vision problems or blindness.
AFL Blind Football is like regular Australian football, but with some small changes to the rules and equipment. These changes help players enjoy the game.
Games are played inside. This helps players use their hearing better. The football has a USB charging port and a beeper that makes a sound. This sound helps players find the ball. To help players know where the goals are, there are flashing lights and bright backdrops behind the goals. Goal umpires also shake rattles when the ball is near the scoring area.
