An All-Abilities Netball Program started at Doncaster and Districts Netball Association in July 2015. It began with clinics for players of all abilities to learn netball, make friends, and be part of a lively and supportive sporting group. As more players joined, a weekly competition began.

All Abilities Netball Program

The program has two parts and runs with the Manningham Netball competition on Saturday mornings. There are two seasons: Autumn and Spring. The first part is a warm-up and skills session at 10:00 am. The second part is competition games starting at 11:00 am.

Players get help on and off the court from the All-Abilities Committee, volunteer coaches, past players, and special umpires. All helpers have passed Working with Children Checks. We aim to create a safe and positive place for everyone.

No experience is needed to join. The competition is open to all ages, both boys and girls.

Players have also played against other teams at events. Some have even represented the Chisholm Region at State Titles Championships. As the competition has grown, players have had more chances to compete against other teams.
