Several colorful lawn bowls in shades of black and blue are positioned on vibrant green grass, with a white jack ball nearby.

Bowls, or lawn bowls, is a game where you roll balls that curve. The goal is to get them close to a small ball called a “jack” or “kitty”.

People play lawn bowls for fun, to enjoy being outside, and to meet others. It is also a gentle way to exercise. If you have trouble seeing, you can play with a helper who can see well. This helper is also a club member.

If you are new, you can use the club’s bowls and get free help on game days. Anyone over 12 can play, even if they have low vision.

We have a game every Sunday from September to April.
