Two people walk along a wooden boardwalk through lush green grass and tall eucalyptus trees, with a distant view of a hillside.

Can I do this walk? This walk is easy for everyone, including those using a wheelchair or other mobility aids.

What will I see? The walk goes between a bushy wetland and Fyans Creek to the Grampians National Park Information Centre and Brambuk Cultural Centre. You might see kangaroos, emus, and other birds.

How easy is the path? This walk is in a peaceful bush setting. The path has asphalt, boardwalk, and hard gravel. It is smooth, firm, and gently sloped. There are signs with directions and maps. Signs around the garden describe the area.

The path is wide enough for side-by-side travel and turning. Edges are clear of the creek and wetland. A slightly bumpy garden boardwalk over the wetland has safe edging but no rails.

The bush setting has trees and shrubs with low branches, leaves, and twigs. There are no steps. After rain, the gravel might be a bit soft, but it won’t stop wheelchairs.

There are shorter walks, like around the Information Centre Garden. The car park is the only pick-up point. Phone coverage might not be reliable.

The Cultural Centre is being fixed up (it’s not well-kept right now).

Rest areas The path has lots of tree shade. There is built shade at the Information Centre.

Seating is limited to benches around the building. The café is closed, so its seats are stacked away. Food and drinks are available in nearby Halls Gap.

There are picnic tables near the car park (not all paths are easy to use).

Bring your own water and take your trash with you.

There is an easy-to-use toilet. See the photo for details.

Dogs are not allowed in the National Park.

Parking There is room to pick up, drop off, or park. Easy-to-use spaces are in the upper and lower car parks near the Information Centre. The best spot to start the wetland loop is the lower car park with 3 wide, easy-to-use spaces on a smooth surface by the walk.

The nearest ramp to the walk is a few meters up the car park slope. Watch for traffic.
