Hoops is for everyone! ‘Hoops for wheelies!’ (wheelchair basketball) is here at Frankston Basketball.

Opportunities are available for all people to engage with this part of our sport, particularly those with:

Childhood-onset physical disabilities
Spinal cord injury (SCI)
Secondary physical disabilities
Physical impairment that is not traditionally seen as a disability (e.g. chronic conditions that prevent people from participating in their chosen sport).

Abled bodies participants are welcome to join.

Participants will do 15 mins of drills; the remainder of the session will be a game.

Participant Numbers:

Registration is capped at 12 players due to chair availability.

Sports wheelchairs are provided.

If you have your own sports wheelchair, you are welcome to bring it along.

Court 1. *Due to our redevelopment, the program may change stadiums mid-way through. This will be communicated ahead of time

Other Information:

Basketballs and wheelchairs will be provided for use during the session but if participants have their own ball or sports wheelchair, they are welcome to bring it along.

Please feel free to bring anything needed to help you to be comfortable and aid your participation.
