Winter 2025 Season

THE FDBA Winter 2025 Inclusion Competition is proudly sponsored by FRANKSTON CITY COUNCIL,  & THERMA-SAFE INSULATION  &  EVERGREEN DISABILITY CARE

Uniforms have kindly been subsidized by the Frankston City Council AND Evergreen Disability Support and will be available to participants on gameday.

  • The season runs from 2 May – 19 September 2025
  • No games in the school holidays.
  • Matches will be held on Friday evenings from 4.30pm-7pm
  • Fixtures: Available on PlayHQ or MYHOOPS app.

Competition Description

Frankston Basketball’s Inclusion Competition is an inclusive program designed to encourage sports and recreation opportunities for people with a disability.

  • Helps build independence, turn-taking, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Fun, social, and low-pressure environment.
  • Participants must be with a parent or carer.
  • End-of-season grand final games for all teams with a medal/trophy presentation.

Other Information

  • Basketballs and equipment can be provided for use during the session (or bring you own)
  • Bring items for comfort (e.g., noise-cancelling headphones, iPad)
  • Sensory room available during all competition hours.
