Meet Joanne, our teacher.

A message from Joanne: Hi, I am a mum of 2 kids. I have worked with children for over 20 years. I have been teaching swimming for about 7 years. I love seeing students achieve their goals and celebrate their “High 5” moments.

Joanne is a qualified teacher with certificates in: Autism Swim, Teaching Swimming and Water Safety, Teaching Infant and Preschool Aquatics, Teaching Aquatics-Access and Inclusion, and Austswim Assessor.

I teach all ages, from 3 months to adults, in group or private lessons. At ‘Splash’s Learn to Swim, we focus on each student’s needs. Our teaching method is safe, supportive, and includes water safety and survival skills.

The pool is a 25-meter indoor pool with UV filters, so there is less chlorine and smell. The pool and air are heated to 32 degrees all year.

There are separate changing rooms for males and females with showers and toilets, plus a family changing room. There is a waiting area for parents with air conditioning and a cafe. There is also an outdoor play area with climbing frames and swings.
